FLU VACCINATION PLANS 2020

Cantilupe  Surgery is aware of the announcement today by the Department for Health and Social Care that anyone aged 50-64 has now been added to the eligible cohorts for this year's flu vaccine. We are now working to order additional vaccine supply and plan for more flu clinics in December. We ask that patients refrain from ringing the practice with inquiries on this and we will communicate the new arrangements for flu clinics in the near future.'

This year, due to covid restrictions, we will be holding BOOKED flu clinics only.  We need to ensure our patients safety and ensure we vaccinate the most at risk first.

These will be held at BARTESTREE VILLAGE HALL.  All eligible patients will be called during October and November, depending on delivery of vaccines. Clinics will be on Saturdays and you will receive an invitation by letter with a booked slot time to attend.

Please bear with us!!  This is a challenging time for us all. We WILL write to you if you are entitled to a flu vaccination (over 65 or under 65 with a chronic illness)

Children aged 2 and 3 and patients who are pregnant will be called separately to these clinics as we receive vaccines.

See our Facebook page  for up to date information.

There are leaflets available from the surgery - there is a list of participating pharmacies on the back - all in Hereford City offer the scheme including the ones in the supermarkets and several in the surrounding towns.
